James M. Holz graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., in 1999 with a degree in general studies with an emphasis in Finance.
Putting his talents to good use, he earned himself a position at Bear Stearns Wagner Stott where he worked on the New York Stock Exchange as a front-line specialist clerk. Mr. Holz earned seven different financial related licenses.
A year after the tragic events of 9/11, the financial industry had changed and so had Mr. Holz’s aspirations. He decided to attend law school so that he could use his skills in another field. He graduated from the Florida A&M University of Law in 2006.
While a student in law school, he won the award for Best Advocate in the school’s Moot Court Competition which earned him a seat on the Moot Court Board. He served as the Mock Trial Chair of the board. He also was selected to compete in the 2005 Cardozo/BMI Moot Court Competition where he and his partner were semi-finalists.
As part of his graduation requirements, he worked as a certified legal intern with the 10th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Office in Bartow, Fla. Mr. Holz practices law in the fields of criminal law and divorce and family law.
